Overview: apartment description: Manzano Apartments description

The Manzano Apartments are a good, simple choice if you want to hit the slopes without breaking the bank. And they don’t skimp on location – it’s just a 5-minute walk to the lifts and there are plenty of bars, clubs and restaurants on your doorstep.

There’s a long list of studios and apartments to pick from, and they sleep up to eight people so groups will be right at home. You’ll be staying self-catering so you can plan meals to suit you, and there’s a supermarket 5 minutes away where you can stock up on essentials.

The bar is the cherry on top here. When you’ve skied your last run for the day, wander back here to put your feet up and sip a beer or play a game of pool.

This package holiday to Manzano Apartments in Pas De La Casa, Andorra departs Sunday 25th January 2026, for a 7 night stay on a "self catering" board basis. A local tourist tax (Taxe de Sejour or Kurtaxe) is levied by many councils in European ski resorts. It varies by standard and type of accommodation and is age dependent, so not everyone is charged. It's not included in the basic price of your holiday and is usually paid locally. For reference, the average charged in winter 2024 was between €1 and €3 per person, per night.

Largest ski area in Andorra Great place to learn Varied terrain for all

Probably best known for its après ski culture and long sunny days, Pas is the liveliest ski village in Andorra and with boundless opportunities both on and off the slopes, you may well be in need of another holiday when you get back. As part of the largest ski domain in the Pyrenees, the skiing is not to be sniffed at - and with cut price heli-skiing on the cards it’s a brilliant choice as a second trip for snowsports aficionados.

Not only is Pas de la Casa the highest ski resort in the Pyrenees (it sits at a lofty 2100m), but it’s also the sunniest. The après ski scene is arguably one of the best in Europe, and the resort is also home to some of the best shopping in the country… so far, so good! The first lift was installed by ski legend Francesc Viladomat in 1956, and the resort has been growing ever since. The village of Grau Roig was soon incorporated into the ski area, and when the resorts joined forces (and linked lifts) with ...
The variety of terrain is apparent as soon as you leave the village- from the six seater Font Negre or the smaller Costa Rodonda you’ll be able to access one of the regions snowparks, the boardercross track, beginners zone and a freeriding area. The beginners area at the base of the valley has a few incredibly gentle lifts and approachable nursery slopes and at the end of the day all levels of skier can ski right down into the village – the red/blue Tubs will take you virtually to the door of your hotel. ...
Pas de La Casa really comes into its own when it comes to the après scene, with locals and tourists alike taking liberal advantage of the duty free drink prices and late opening times. Eating out is much cheaper than you’d expect in a ski resort as well- most of the restaurants serve a selection of family friendly European food, though you’ll be able to find some local Andorran specialties (such as the warming escudella stew) at Costa Rodona. There’s a McDonalds and a Burger King for the unadventurous, w...

"What you expect but shame about lack of space"

Allan, Newcastle upon Tyne

The way Pas de la Casa is built is that you have a zig zag road that goes up from village (it’s a bit steep I must admit). There are various apartments and shops on the way up the road and our apartment was after 4 bends of the zig zag at the top of the hill. It’s ok if you’re a good skier as you can just go the 50-100 yards down to the first corner and ski out but beginners would have to walk back to the village. You have to walk a bit to get to the shops but it’s only about 2 bends away, so you don’t have to go all the way down. The apartments themselves were fine, a bit cosy for five people but that seems to be the way of it nowadays – ours was supposed to sleep six but you’d be pushed for living space with six people as it’s quite cramped. The sleeping arrangements were a room with a double and two singles and then two pull outs in the lounge. We did a little bit of both cooking and eating out. The cooking facilities were OK, not brilliant but again you expect that nowadays. They had all the pots and pans you wanted but there was only one ring, maybe two, so it was quite minimal and you had to be creative to say the least!
