How to ski in luxury
While there isn't a globally recognised rating system for either hotels or chalets, there are several tried and true benchmarks for identifying properties worthy of 5 stars (or more) and of hosting your special occasions: warm, inviting interiors, some of the best food in the mountains, a range and quality of facilities more usually associated with a private health club and behind the scenes, an ever-attentive retinue of staff, who bring it all together.

Chefs in the finest chalets have often earned their stripes in Michelin starred restaurants, while some of the best gourmet ski hotels are decorated with Michelin stars of their own. If you like to explore local cuisine, there's always a concierge or host to point you in the direction of the resort's top restaurants.
For the ultimate in bespoke dining, most chalet chefs will build their menus according to your personal preferences. In our hotels, flexibility often comes in the form of multiple restaurants - and room service if a lazy evening beckons.

Reserve a whole luxury chalet for two and you’ll have the run of your very own alpine lodge, with private spa facilities, gourmet food and staff who’ll move mountains to make your honeymoon magnificent. It’s not usually possible to take just one room in this type of accommodation, but properties like The Farmhouse are an excellent exception to the rule if a shared chalet suits you both better.
