· central location in the heart of Tremblant · 1 minute's walk to the cabriolet lift · 3 minutes' uphill walk to the slopes · shops, bars and restaurants on your doorstep
Lots of Tremblant hotels have a good location, but it’s tough to beat the Westin. It’s right in the centre of the resort, so you can either walk a few minutes up to the base of the slopes from the third-floor ski room, or walk 1 minute down to the cabriolet lift and take that up instead. You’re just a snowball’s throw from all of the shops, bars and restaurants - but somehow the hotel is beautifully quiet, so you can be sure of a good night’s sleep.
The modern lobby, with comfy sofas and huge roaring fire, is sure to impress when you step through the door. Upstairs, the rooms are spacious and modern with extra touches that really make you feel you’re in a five-star hotel – like Heavenly queen beds and cosy fireplaces that switch on at the touch of a button.
The rest of the facilities are fantastic too. The Westin is one of the only hotels in Tremblant to have an outdoor pool open in winter, and there’s also an outdoor hot tub, a sauna and a spa for when you really want to indulge. If you’ve got more energy to burn, you can hit the fitness centre or even join the running concierge for a morning jog around town.
Breakfast in the Gypsy restaurant is a must - they’ve got everything from pancakes and bacon to fresh fruit, plus a made-to-order omelette station manned by the friendly chef. In the evenings, Gypsy serves up a mouth-watering array of tapas dishes and cocktails - don’t miss the skirt steak or signature sangria.
