Overview: chalet description: Le Fayard Penthouse Apartment description

An aesthetic masterpiece and a wonderful space in which to unwind and slow down

Le Fayard Penthouse is a fabulous ski-in, ski-out three bedroom luxury apartment situated in one of Verbier’s best locations on the edge of the Le Rouge piste and only 100m from the Le Rouge restaurant and bar.
A fantastic base for families or a group of friends, offering direct access via the Le Rouge teleski to the main resort slopes, while still just being a few minutes from Verbier’s vibrant centre.
The apartment's top floor position allows for breathtaking views across the valley which can be enjoyed from the spacious living area or large balcony. The apartment is a two-minute walk from the bus stop where a free service operates every five minutes (in season) taking you directly to the main Médran lift or up to Savoleyres.
The apartment is accessed via a private flight of stairs and opens into a warm and welcoming entrance, furnished with an aviator-style armchair. There is a large storage area here with heated boot warmers, oodles of hanging space for jackets, and lots of baskets for hats and gloves. From here, the entrance leads through to the living area and bedrooms as well as upstairs to a further large TV den and en-suite twin bedroom nestled within the charming eves of the building.
The whole apartment has been elegantly decorated throughout in a simple and elegant “New England” style which takes advantage of light flooding in through huge windows into the living area. Here full length French windows lead out onto a sizeable balcony which offers beautiful views over the valley.
The large living space, in calming neutral colours, features beautiful library shelves, a wonderful stone open fireplace, a four-seat sofa, and two elegant armchairs in oatmeal fabric. Stunning local art decorates the walls. The room is perfect space in which to entertain or for cosy family nights in with a wall-mounted television and Bose 5 speaker surround sound. There is WiFi throughout the apartment.
The living area opens into a sublime dining room where a stunning dark wood dining table comfortably seats eight. Again, there are huge windows with views over the valley and the high-vaulted ceilings creating a truly elegant dining space. There is a second stone fireplace charmingly decorated with little wooden skis and candelabra. The room affords space for a gorgeous wooden dresser which houses endless crockery and wine glasses for entertaining.

The dining room is open to the fresh white kitchen with chic dark wood worktops There is a breakfast bar and the kitchen is fully equipped with a double doored Siemens fridge freezer, Siemens oven and plate-warming drawer, Siemens microwave, Zug integrated dishwasher, and a four-plate Siemens hob. There is also a Nespresso Turmix TX 100 coffee maker and a double wine cooler fridge.
To the right of the entrance corridor is a delightful twin/double bedroom with en-suite shower room and toilet. The bedroom has ample storage with two built-in wardrobes.
There is a separate guest toilet on this level and a wonderful utility room located behind a sliding door with linen storage, cleaning products storage, utility sink, and Miele washing machine and tumble dryer. The room includes a small rail for drying shirts and a steam iron.
Leading off a corridor from the kitchen is the master bedroom, dressing room, and a study. The master bedroom can be used as either a double or a twin with zip and link beds and has views over the Le Rouge ski run. The bedroom is equipped with a wall mounted TV and features an alcove with a gorgeous stone sculpture.
The en-suite bathroom offers every luxury with a stunning wooden barrel-style bath and a separate hammam shower. There is a double sink with under sink storage and two additional wall-mounted cabinets making great use of space. Opposite the bedroom is a sizeable dressing room.
The large study, accessed from the master bedroom, is furnished tastefully with a glass-topped desk and classic shabby-chic tan leather armchair and pouf. There is WiFi and a printer.
There are two parking spaces available with this property, one of which is covered. It should be noted that access to the property in winter requires a 4 x 4 vehicle and chains may be required in certain conditions.
This property is rented on a seasonal or annual basis only. Additional services such as daily cleaning, a driving service, and in-chalet catering are available at an additional cost. Please contact the sales team for more information.

Established in 1937, posh party town Verbier covers a sunny plateau slap bang in the middle of Switzerland’s 4 valleys – which just happens to be one of Europe’s biggest and best ski areas. The easy-on-the-eye architecture’s a pretty mix of wood and slate, but it’s what you’ll find within some of these walls that’ll blow your socks off… Blending in with dozens of classic chalets and ski hotels, this place has some of the most luxurious lodgings on the planet. Some hotels come with designer suites an...
Besides being famous for its off-piste routes, Verbier’s well groomed slopes are well known as some of the most challenging in the Alps. Although it mainly attracts intermediate, advanced and expert level skiers seeking adventurous off-piste and steeps experience, the 37 local pistes covering 100km provide for all abilities. The resort has three areas specifically for beginners, including the gentle slopes at Les Moulins, which has a children’s area and Les Esserts, with its 120m magic carpet. Those with a b...
Many say Verbier’s après is the main reason to visit – it’s certainly some of the best in the world and if you want to increase the odds of bumping into Prince Harry or Leonardo di Caprio on the dance floor, there’s no better place to party. From a good old pint in a lively pub (we love Nelson’s and Pub Mont Fort) to swanky cocktails with the socialites at Cordee de Alps, the nightlife is wonderfully varied. An absolute legend is the Farinet - with a huge sliding roof, a commanding position over the mai...
