Self-catering is easy thanks to the small supermarket downstairs – or you can skip cooking and try the onsite restaurant, which has a south-facing terrace with excellent views. There’s also a lounge and play area, a sports shop and a laundry room, plus a lively pub just around the corner.
And the best part? You’ve got direct access to the slopes from the onsite ski room. Just step out the door and ski straight down to the drag lift or nearby Peclet cable car. The apartments are right in the centre of Val Thorens, so you can go for a wander after the lifts close to scope out the bars, restaurants and shops in resort.
