Overview: hotel description: Landhaus Mayrhofen description

The Landhaus is a perfect no-frills base for your Mayrhofen ski trip. Step outside and the bars and restaurants in the resort centre are right on your doorstep, and you can stretch your legs on the 10-minute walk to the Penken gondola. Or save all your energy for the slopes and catch the free ski bus instead.

The hotel has a really authentic Austrian feel, from the wooden balconies to the pine-panelled bedrooms – there's even a traditional Tyrolean farm nearby. And though it's a simple place, you can walk a few steps to the neighbouring Hotel Neuhaus and pay a little more to indulge in the spa or go for a strike at the bowling alley.

The Hotel Neuhaus takes care of breakfast too, and you'll start the day there with a big buffet spread. You can even visit the chef to get your eggs and omelettes cooked just the way you like them.
