One of the biggest names in après ski has decided to push the boundaries and open a hotel! Reinventing the Savoy Palace from the inside out, the Folie Douce Hotel will bring its eclectic mix of hospitality and entertainment to a permanent position in Chamonix. Hitting the slopes couldn't be easier, the Savoy lift is less than a minutes walk away (giving access to the Brévent and Flégère ski area) and the ski-in/ski-out access means reaching both slopes and resort centre are just moments away.

Bar Janssenoffers a laid back vibe with an extensive cocktail menu. Primarily offered on a bed & breakfast basis, giving the opportunity to explore Chamonix by night and enjoy the fabulous range of restaurants on offer. There are three additional restaurants on site,La Fruitiereis a traditional French gourmet restaurant,Le Kiosquewhich offers quick and delicious street food orLe Mayenproviding traditional Savoyard specialities.

What about the world famous après we hear you say? No less than the best with après daily from 5-8pm at the After Mountain Party Bar. DJs, dancers, singers and musicians are all on the menu and we are sure this Folie flagship will not disappoint!

If you need a break from the party, take advantage of the large spa with sauna and steam room plus the outdoor poolwith fabulous views across to Mont Blanc. Yoga classes are also available for the ultimate mind and body detox.

There are two grades of rooms available: 3* Access rooms (simple and compact dormitory style) and 4* Premium rooms (larger and have a higher standard of furnishings).

Rooms in the Folie Douce Hotel are split between 3* 'Access' rooms and 4* 'Premium' rooms. All room types have mountain views and access to the spa facilities are included.

Access rooms are compact and simply furnished. All rooms have shower, WC, bed linen, hairdryer, Wi-Fi and cable / satellite TV with English speaking channels.

  • Twin rooms are 18m² and sleep up to two adults. Twin or double bed (please specify preference when booking)
  • Quad rooms are also 18m² and sleep three to four people. These rooms are in a 'Dormitory' style with three bunk beds and a pull out sofa bed. Suitable for a group of friends

Premium rooms have additional luxuries including a telephone, flat screen cable / satellite TV with English speaking channels, safe, tea & coffee making facilities, towels, bath robes, toiletries, mini bar and hairdryer. These rooms have a higher standard of furnishings and design.

The hotel have three restaurants to dine in, 'La Petite Cuisine', 'La Fruitiere' is a chic French bistro gourmet restaurant, 'Le Mayen' serving a la carte Savoyard specialities, as well as 'La Piazza' which is a takeaway pizza kiosk.

Half board basis is also available, at a supplement. Dinner will be taken in La Petite Cuisine for a three course dinner, apart from Sundays which will be in La Fruitiere and Wednesdays in Le Mayen. The two special dinners will be two courses and are included in the half board supplement. Dinner is served from 7pm.
