Kaprun’s snow history will give you an idea of the conditions over the past few seasons and the snow forecast will let you know what the conditions are promising for the coming week. As a high altitude resort, the snow tends to hang around once it’s fallen, but as with all last minute holidays, there’s never any harm in a quick snow dance before you set off. A quick peek at one of the webcams will get you salivating for the slopes and show you just what you’re missing out on.

One of Kaprun’s fantastic hotels should be able to squeeze you in and if we can fit you into one of our fantastic catered chalets then the weeks catering has been taken care of in a heartbeat. Bed and breakfast options are available, as in most of our resorts, so if you don’t want to waste any time in the morning, these will do the trick.

Our various packages available give you all the flexibility you need when working out the logistics of your journey to resort. Flying is the most popular option and if you don’t have a lot of equipment to take to resort is also often the most hassle-free. Those with more luggage may prefer to drive, which has the added bonus of more freedom once you arrive. There’s also the wildcard option of the Snow train from St. Pancras or Ashford. This is less restrictive, and more relaxing than flying and the door to door journey times compare favourably.
