An atmospheric and very friendly hotel situated in the traditional unspoiled Lappish village of Äkäslompolo. The property enjoys a scenic, peaceful wooded location with miles of cross-country ski trails starting from the door. The village centre is approximately 500m walk away and the ski bus (free to hotel guests) stops outside the hotel. Its popular bar, dance floor, restaurant and night club form the hub of local entertainment and a perfect choice for all.

The focus is more on relaxation and entertainment away from the slopes of which there’s more than enough to keep all ages very happy. The Akäs hotel is most popular for a few drinks with a dance floor and club inside, while the restaurants in the resort serve all kinds of local delicacies – reindeer and freshly caught fish are both highly recommend...
