Nestled between three natural parks, high on the Cottian Alps, Pragelato offers spectacular views over the mountain for an enchanting skiing retreat. The stunning scenery and rustic alpine setting has attracted Piedmont’s finest for a number of years, giving it a refined air that is unique from everywhere else in the Via Lattea. Hidden away in the heart of the Cottian Alps, its chic style and peaceful atmosphere make it best for small groups looking for a touch of luxury and families wanting a quiet retreat in a traditional alpine setting. Authentic wood and stone architecture make up the stylish accommodation and some wonderful cafés and restaurants to dine in.

The resort is easily accessible from Turin airport, just under a two hour transfer and can also be reached by train by connecting to the High Speed from Paris to Oulx, where you can take a short taxi ride to the centre.

This is known as the best kept secret of the Italian Alps – as well as soaking up the wonderful culture in this very Italian town, those visiting will be able to ski vast and varied terrain in a legendary linked ski area. Pragelato made it marks on the Milky Way map as the ski area’s newest member after holding the cross-country and ski jumping competitions in the 2006 Winter Olympics. This led to the building of the Pattemouche-Anfiteatro cable car, which links the resort to over 400km of blanketed piste, offering long days of exciting skiing and snowboarding, finished in refined luxury for an indulgent end to your day.

The resort is also excellent for non-skiers who can settle on a sunny café terrace overlooking beautiful views of the mountain, spend a day shopping some Italian specialities or indulge in a number of treatments at one of the spa facilities.
