Skiing with Club Med in Italy
Club Med’s chosen two of Italy’s biggest, most snow sure international ski areas to set up shop – first Franco-Italian Via Lattea (AKA The Milky Way), and second the Matterhorn ski area, which crosses the Swiss border to legendary Zermatt.
Club Med Pragelato’s the heart and soul of a tiddly village bang in the middle of Piedmont’s Via Lattea ski region, which hosted the Winter Olympics in 2006. It’s positioned perfectly for exploring, and makes a handy base to return to for drinks and mealtimes throughout the week.
Higher up in the alps at 2050m, Club Med Cervinia belongs to one of the greatest ski areas the world - when it comes to snow quality, scenery AND sheer variety. The resort serves as a super way to ski under the iconic Matterhorn massif, without having to pay Zermatt prices for accommodation, restaurants and ski passes.
The all-inclusive concept here covers one of Italy’s biggest passions – good food, and lots of it. Local dishes are served in the main buffets throughout the week, and you’ll also find speciality restaurants providing a wonderfully authentic Italian experience.
