Lastenmaa Kids’ Land by Zero Point and Tenavatokka is the perfect place to learn; there’s a fantastic wide run amongst the trees. "Brilliant week in Levi & Immelmokit Cabins"

Michael
4/ out of 5
Really enjoyed our stay in the Immelmokit cabins, they were nice. We deliberately picked the one we stayed in as it was a slightly different design to other ones, and it was good. Some have the kitchen upstairs which we didn’t want, and ours had 2 toilets. They’re a wee bit further out than some of the accommodation in Levi, but we enjoyed the walk out and back, which took only 5-10 minutes. We tended to eat lunch out and cook in the evenings, having been to Levi before we knew that finding food shops was easy.

"Lovely, warm cabins"

Really enjoyed our stay in the Immelmokit Cabins, they’re spacious, comfortable, warm and well-equipped and in a lovely location. We mainly cooked for ourselves, there’s a good supermarket in Levi that’s only a short walk away and you can pull what you’ve bought back on a sled. We ate out at the Levitunturi for one meal which was very nice. I liked that there was a fireplace, with a wood store you could take wood from. There’s also lovely underfloor heating, so though you’re in Finland you don’t get chilly at all. One day the rep knocked on the door and said come outside to see the northern lights, which was amazing as you don’t always see them!

There was plenty of space and the cabin was nice and warm, the kids had good fun playing outside in the snow and we all had a great week overall. Getting to the Levi slopes took a 15 minute walk or it was just a little bus ride to the other slopes. We cooked meals ourselves and carrying the ingredients back to our cabin wasn’t a problem with so many people! We had quite a lot of youngsters staying there and I would definitely recommend the cabins to other families.

"Excellent location but there are better places to stay in Levi"

Eugene Johnson, Bucklebury

The cabins are in a very nice location. I went here once before in 2005 or 2004, and they were better back then. I think the standard has dropped since. It’s just little things really, for example we got a big cabin which sleeps up to 8 or 9 people. There were only 4 of us in there, so it was fine, but there weren’t many comfy seats, not enough for 8 people. It’s very cold in Levi so in the evenings people tend to stay in, make some spag bol or something, play some board games and just relax. So really you want somewhere comfortable to stay. I know the area well and I’ve stayed in other accommodation there. I think there are better places to stay, and for that reason I wouldn’t go back to these particular cabins.
