"Great value for money."

Vanessa
4/ out of 5
The hotel was really good, the people who owned it and were there were really helpful and hospitable. We thought it was great value for money, we all liked it. They were really generous with the breakfast. They had meats, cheeses, lots of different types of breads, yoghurt, fruit etc.! A great continental type of breakfast. Also the lady made some fresh eggs as well. The lady didn’t speak English but was very good and attentive. She really made an effort to try with the English speaking guests in the mornings to communicate and was really good – luckily I speak German so it was fine for me. The ski access was fine. It was a little bit of a walk to the ski lifts, but it was good enough. We just walked every day, didn’t need a bus or anything.

"Last minute ski holiday worked well"

We had a good holiday here, kind of last minute but it worked well! The hotel is basic but spacious with a good location pretty much ski in, ski out, although it’s quite steep and icy so maybe not for beginners... you can walk round the road instead of ski which takes about 10 minutes. Inside was all very comfortable but quite dated, although when you’re skiing all day you just want somewhere comfortable to sleep! We had B&B which was very good; they did a bit of everything like Austrian style breakfast, boiled egg and toast, cereal etc. You could book half board and eat at a hotel associated with this one but we decided to eat out, there are some really nice restaurants in the resort including a couple of rustic Austrian places that did a good fondue.
