Overview: hotel description: Hotel Soulsisters' description

Previously the Hotel Antonius, the Hotel Soulsisters’ has had a complete makeover to go with the new name. There’s a fresh, modern feel from the lobby, lounge and bar to the bedrooms, with plenty of soft lighting, designer furniture and quirky touches, like the rabbit-themed lamps on the front desk.

They’ve levelled up on the facilities front too, starting with all things wellness. A swim in the indoor and outdoor pools is just the ticket after a day on the slopes. And as well as the family sauna and relaxation area, there’s the Hideaway Spa – a separate adults-only section that lives up to its name, with its super zen vibes and swish looks. The hotel’s à la carte restaurant’s also had a reboot, so don’t miss booking a table during your stay to feast on flavours from around the world.

There’s one thing that hasn’t changed and that’s the first-class location. After you’ve munched your fill from the big breakfast buffet, it’s just a few minutes’ walk to the Maiskogel gondola that links to lifts that’ll take you to the tip of the Kitzsteinhorn glacier. Or, if you fancy checking out neighbouring Zell am See, just hop on the ski bus – it stops right outside.

Located in Salzburg, Kaprun is perhaps best known for being the home of the magnificent Kitzsteinhorn glacier and was the first Austrian resort to partake in glacier skiing way back in the 60’s. As with many other Austrian resorts, organic growth over time has meant much of the town’s architecture still presents a quaint throwback to days gone by - those wishing for the fairy-tale holiday setting may very well find their wishes come true in the shadow of the regal 12th century Castle, or amongst the delight...
Kaprun’s pistes are split fairly evenly in terms of ability level, with the majority being classed as suitable for intermediate skiers. Don’t let this scare you off or lull you into a false sense of security though, as newbies and adrenaline junkies are fantastically catered for too. Of particular appeal to families and those with limited experience is Maiskogel- known as ‘The Family Mountain’. Accessible by the Maiskogelbahn gondola, the area is accessed separately from the larger Kitzsteinhorn area of t...
Despite the relatively modest size of the resort, there are still almost 50 different bars and restaurants to choose between. The evening’s festivities can kick off before you’ve even left the slopes; the Häuslalm’s famous terrace bar is the perfect location to start your après and indulge in some traditional Austrian fare whilst looking down onto the village below. Nestled right at the base of the slopes, Zur Lederhos´n is the first stop for many fresh off the lifts. Boasting a heated terrace with live...
