The hotel felt like a grown up hotel, not many families, it was a good comfortable clean hotel. It had all the facilities needed for a skiing holiday. The Schönegg is a popular and beautifully furnished superior chalet-style hotel, with ornate décor throughout. The hotel enjoys super panoramic views across Zermatt towards the Matterhorn and is well known locally for its high standard of cuisine. The hotel felt like a grown up hotel, not many families, it was a good comfortable clean hotel. It had all the facilities needed for a skiing holiday. The staff were lovely, offering useful tips, the service was very polished. The food was good almost too good, 5-course meal every day ended up defeating us, they allowed us to change and pick from the al a carte menu. The hotel was well located, we could walk to the closest lift in 5- 10 mins.
