The Hotel Revontuli is in the centre of resort and only a minute's walk away from the slopes and ski school. The Reindeer Park, where most of the activities take place, is only a 5-minute drive away.

When you've finished your day, you can head to the spa and warm up in the sauna or whirpool, or spend some time in the waterfall relaxation pool. Around the outside of the hotel, you'll find warming huts with wood fires and free firewood - a great place to spend an evening with family or friends. And don't forget to keep an eye out for the Northern Lights.

Staying in Salla is all about stepping into the stuff of Christmas cards and spending a week on the same wavelength as nature. “Tunturi” is the word describing the treeless mountains that make up some of the ski areas in Finland. There isn’t a massive amount of skiing in the Sallatunturi but this is the beauty of the place as it encourages you to try other activities and enjoy the peace and quiet.
