Hotel Rendlhof Summary

If good-value and a central location are top of your wish list, the Rendlhof’s for you. It’s just down the road from St Anton’s pedestrianised high street, a short stroll from all the shops, bars and restaurants in the village. You can walk to the Nasserein gondola from here too, or hop on the free ski bus just outside to get to the Galzigbahn and Rendl gondolas.

Balconies and wood cladding give the building that classic Tyrolean look. Inside, it's a simply decorated, no-frills kind of place. There’s a small wellness area with a sauna, and a lounge by the reception with a few armchairs too.

As for the food, it’s traditional Austrian fare. There’s a continental breakfast to get you going in the morning. Then in the evenings, sit down to 3-course dinners where you can fill up on local favourites, like schnitzel and dumpling soup.

Brimming with traditional Austrian charm but with all the conveniences of a modern resort, St Anton's vast, high altitude ski area and vibrant atmosphere make it truly world class. It's one of the major international destinations that everyone must visit at least once (and is likely to return to frequently thereafter). Two minutes from the train station and less than an hour's drive from Innsbruck airport, it's a conveniently accessible resort. The main village is traffic free and stretches for about 1km - dot...
It's often said that if you learn to ski or snowboard here, you're likely to find any other resort an utter breeze... Just don't do a Bridget Jones (her memorable descent in 'Edge of Reason' took place on one of the more challenging Arlberg runs) and make sure to take advantage of the excellent tuition on offer. Thanks to local legend Hannes Schneider, St Anton opened the first ski school in 1921. The Skischule Arlberg continues to provide excellent tuition today, so beginners are in good hands. There's a nurs...

You'll find about 20 bars offering a variety of scenes, but to experience après ski at its best you can't leave until you've joined the masses and danced on the tables at world-famous Mooserwirt or The Crazy Kangaroo (Krazy Kanguruh). While it's reputation is lively (and the resort lives up to it) there are lots of options if you prefer a more so...
