Brilliant, 5-star, staff were very helpful. Very good food would highly recommend. Location was okay, very good for shops and restaurants but bit of a walk to slopes. Most of holiday has been ski in ski out and this is not that. The run back into the resort is quite difficult for beginners. + more

Absolutely excellent, couldn’t fault the food, boot room was fantastic. Opposite the slopes less than a 200m walk to the chair lift, you can then ski back underneath the lift back to where you started. Really nice meal out, steak restaurant opposite the hotel that was really good value for money. + more

Brimming with traditional Austrian charm but with all the conveniences of a modern resort, St Anton's vast, high altitude ski area and vibrant atmosphere make it truly world class. It's one of the major international destinations that everyone must visit at least once (and is likely to return to frequently thereafter). Two minutes from the train station and less than an hour's drive from Innsbruck airport, it's a conveniently accessible resort. The main village is traffic free and stretches for about 1km - dot...
It's often said that if you learn to ski or snowboard here, you're likely to find any other resort an utter breeze... Just don't do a Bridget Jones (her memorable descent in 'Edge of Reason' took place on one of the more challenging Arlberg runs) and make sure to take advantage of the excellent tuition on offer. Thanks to local legend Hannes Schneider, St Anton opened the first ski school in 1921. The Skischule Arlberg continues to provide excellent tuition today, so beginners are in good hands. There's a nurs...
The après ski here is absolutely legendary: the atmosphere is constantly buzzing and with a night bus running until 3am, you can really make the most of your evening. You'll find about 20 bars offering a variety of scenes, but to experience après ski at its best you can't leave until you've joined the masses and danced on the tables at world-famous Mooserwirt or The Crazy Kangaroo (Krazy Kanguruh). While it's reputation is lively (and the resort lives up to it) there are lots of options if you prefer a more so...

You’re near the Galzig gondola which is right next door, there are restaurants and shops nearby and you could pop out to the bars and après ski which was perfect for our teenage / 20 year old children. We were full board and they did a great choice of food, the staff were really good with my daughter’s nut allergy so if you have anything like that you just need to let them know. At breakfast they had everything you could imagine and they also did afternoon tea so you come back to the hotel and have salami, soups and cheeses. The evening meals had quite a lot to choose between, lots of local meals and always starting with a big salad. We had a superior room and the children were in standard rooms. We didn’t think the standard rooms would be that nice but they were actually fine, all with balconies and a sofa as well as everything else. Our superior room also had a massive big bathroom and a huge bath. All rooms were nice and clean. St Anton has a good nightlife anyway but the evenings here were good, one day they had traditional Austrian people playing music, another there was a girl playing violin and harp and they also had a guy doing entertainment which was good fun.
