· in the centre of town · 1 minute's walk to the Planai I gondola and ski bus stop · ski school meeting point next to the hotel
Location-wise, the Planai can’t be beat. You’re metres from the main gondola here, so it’s easy to get first dibs on morning runs. And you’re at the heart of the après action too, with the Hohenhaus Tenne just down the street – a town favourite for a post-piste party. To top it off you’re a leisurely wander from Schladming’s pedestrian area, where you can snap some scenic shots and bag a few souvenirs to take home.
When you’re back, it’s worth heading up to the roof top for a spell in the sauna. There’s nothing like kicking back to relax while taking in those mountain views. When you’re done, why not settle in for a drink in the lounge, and watch the flames flicker in the sleek, glass fireplace? For the kids, there are two places to play, so they can have at it on the slides, swings and climbing frames for a bit of extra fun when the ski day’s done.
Your meals are sorted here, thanks to your half-board stay. The food is served buffet-style, so you can fuel up on a Continental breakfast before you hit the slopes, and pile your plate with your faves in the evening too.
