Our fourth group trip back to Pamporovo, there are a group of us that go (10 this year), we’ve stayed in the Orlovetz twice and also the Snezhanker – Orlovetz is the better of the two. A striking building on the mountainside, the Orlovetz hotel is right in the heart of Pamporovo, with beautiful views over pine trees and Rhodope mountain’s winding ski runs. It’s easy peasy to get to the slopes from here – just jump on the hotel’s free shuttle bus and you're there in 5 mins.

Moving inside you’ll find the modern, open-plan reception and lobby area, with light-toned furniture, flower arrangements and white walls giving the place a real freshness. You’ll enjoy comfortable nights in your spacious bedroom, where each morning you can enjoy a blast of fresh air and appreciate the scenery from your own personal balcony.

The real highlight is the spa, which has all you could want to feel rested and rejuvenated after a day swooshing down Pamporovo’s pistes. Take your pick from a choice of saunas and steam rooms, or slip into the hot tub and let the water jets massage your muscles. If you fancy some extra pampering, treat yourself to a soothing massage or beauty treatment.

Our fourth group trip back to Pamporovo, there are a group of us that go (10 this year), we’ve stayed in the Orlovetz twice and also the Snezhanker – Orlovetz is the better of the two. It was fabulous! With 10 people you think there will always be one or two who don’t like something, but nobody could find fault! It’s a clean, good sized hotel. The food is fantastic and has definitely improved since 2 years ago. They do all sorts, it’s such a varied selection. Some people complain that it’s not hot enough but it’s the same everywhere else in Bulgaria. The location is really good and so was the free bus service.
