Dating back to the 17th century, the traditional Hotel Nassereinerhof is run by the friendly Cordin family and has been extensively added to and modernised over the years. The hotel still retains some typically Austrian original features, including the wood-panelled farmer’s stube and the vaulted cellar area.

Brimming with traditional Austrian charm but with all the conveniences of a modern resort, St Anton's vast, high altitude ski area and vibrant atmosphere make it truly world class. It's one of the major international destinations that everyone must visit at least once (and is likely to return to frequently thereafter). Two minutes from the train station and less than an hour's drive from Innsbruck airport, it's a conveniently accessible resort. The main village is traffic free and stretches for about 1km - dot...
It's often said that if you learn to ski or snowboard here, you're likely to find any other resort an utter breeze... Just don't do a Bridget Jones (her memorable descent in 'Edge of Reason' took place on one of the more challenging Arlberg runs) and make sure to take advantage of the excellent tuition on offer. Thanks to local legend Hannes Schneider, St Anton opened the first ski school in 1921. The Skischule Arlberg continues to provide excellent tuition today, so beginners are in good hands. There's a nurs...
The après ski here is absolutely legendary: the atmosphere is constantly buzzing and with a night bus running until 3am, you can really make the most of your evening. You'll find about 20 bars offering a variety of scenes, but to experience après ski at its best you can't leave until you've joined the masses and danced on the tables at world-famous Mooserwirt or The Crazy Kangaroo (Krazy Kanguruh). While it's reputation is lively (and the resort lives up to it) there are lots of options if you prefer a more so...

"Spot on!"

The rooms were lovely and large with seating area and we were lucky to be allocated a great table in the restaurant in the old part of the hotel. We were lucky with the snow and skiing was great. The staff were good and very efficient and even remembered Andrew’s birthday. The little spa area was good, which we used a couple of times. The bar in the hotel was pretty lively and good to visit. The hotel however was lacking comfy communal lounge areas with sofas. The meals were spot on and great value for money. The location is great – it’s only a couple of minutes from the boot room to the lifts. The ski rental shop at the gondola was great – very helpful. It’s walking distance into the centre of the village and only 10 minutes walk to the Galzig Gondola. The bus system is great to connect to other villages too, although make sure you have cash. There was a fantastic light show and ski demos showing the history of skiing through the ages, which I believe they put on weekly. Great, free entertainment.

"In a good position - skiing fantastic"

The hotel was good with a nice bar. Rooms were fine and everyone had a great time in St Anton. The skiing there is fantastic which is why were are keen to go back. The food was ok but all buffet style. In a good position, just by the Nasserein gondola, just a couple of minutes walk downhill. And it’s a short walk into the centre of the village for the bars and shops. It is worth going over to Lech and skiing around there too – there are more blue runs and easier skiing.
