Our drivers will shuttle you to and from the shop but all hire can be left in the ski lockers provided by the shop.

Overview: hotel description: Hotel Montjola description

The Hotel Montjola offers all the style and comfort you would expect of a St Anton hotel.

Its sparkling location is just above the two main lifts and the centre of the charming chocolate box Austrian town. A few minutes' walk down to the main lift, piste and party strip, it is close enough to be in the action but far enough away for absolute quiet and one hell of a view.

The hotel was built in 1932 and has been owned and run by the Nohl family since 1939. Our refurbishment retained a little bit of Austrian charm but introduced contemporary comfort of flat screen TVs, sound docks and signature hot tub. The hotel has a lounge and bar with separate TV room and a relaxation suite with sauna, steam room and outdoor hot tub.

Our St Anton hotel, the Hotel Montjola has 34 spacious and luxurious bedrooms over seven floors. All bedrooms have en suite bathrooms with cable flat screen TV, Wi-Fi and hairdryer. Many have a balcony or terrace with spectacular views. Choose from twin, double or Austrian twin rooms, plus family rooms with double sofa bed or child single beds, and a family suite of en-suite double/twin room and separate living room/kitchenette with 2 sofa beds.

Hotel Montjola is one of our dedicated family chalets . Families with infants and children are welcome in the hotel on all dates.

We are delighted to be able to offer private nannies or our Montjola Kids service, a shared nanny service created specifically for families staying the Hotel Montjola with ski school aged children. Montjola kids is a 6 day service... with aprice of just £195 per child per week.

Brimming with traditional Austrian charm but with all the conveniences of a modern resort, St Anton's vast, high altitude ski area and vibrant atmosphere make it truly world class. It's one of the major international destinations that everyone must visit at least once (and is likely to return to frequently thereafter). Two minutes from the train station and less than an hour's drive from Innsbruck airport, it's a conveniently accessible resort. The main village is traffic free and stretches for about 1km - dot...
It's often said that if you learn to ski or snowboard here, you're likely to find any other resort an utter breeze... Just don't do a Bridget Jones (her memorable descent in 'Edge of Reason' took place on one of the more challenging Arlberg runs) and make sure to take advantage of the excellent tuition on offer. Thanks to local legend Hannes Schneider, St Anton opened the first ski school in 1921. The Skischule Arlberg continues to provide excellent tuition today, so beginners are in good hands. There's a nurs...
The après ski here is absolutely legendary: the atmosphere is constantly buzzing and with a night bus running until 3am, you can really make the most of your evening. You'll find about 20 bars offering a variety of scenes, but to experience après ski at its best you can't leave until you've joined the masses and danced on the tables at world-famous Mooserwirt or The Crazy Kangaroo (Krazy Kanguruh). While it's reputation is lively (and the resort lives up to it) there are lots of options if you prefer a more so...

Really good holiday, on-piste snow good for so late in season. Hotel Montjola was very good, lovely staff, comfy beds! Although very disappointed with food beginning of week, improved slightly as week went on. A prettier terrace area would be lovely (turning for van?) Plus if bedroom doors could be made to close a little more quietly (kids) that would be good. Jacuzzi etc fantastic. Super fun!

Overall a great holiday Highlights ... were the Ski hosting with Leo and the always chirpy and convenient shuttle service to and from the village. Also very helpful in looking up train and bus options for onward transport as we weren't coming back to the UK. The quiz was a fun way to get to know some of the other guests too. The hotel itself was clean and well equipt...we didn't use some of the facilities What could be improved.... although the food was good the service in the restaurant could be improved - it all seemed a bit haphazard and inefficient. we never knew from one meal to the next where we were going to be sitting (and neither did the waitresses who although very pleasant, never really seemed to know what was going on) and frequently had to ask repeatedly for things (eg more hot water for tea at breakfast - large teapots for the table would have been very welcome!)...

We had a wonderful holiday & met some really nice people. I would definitely recommend doing the ski guiding days. Sam & Callum where both excellent & we got to see the best bits of St Anton & the surrounding area, also finding very nice places to eat & drink! The staff in the hotel were all very nice & friendly the rooms were spot on. Pick ups & drop off's between village & hotel were well organised. The only areas that needed looking at were:- The hot top was not big enough for more than 4 people & often people were waiting to get in - the hot tub did not always work correctly! Meals were OK, but could be improved, some deserts in particular were strange to say the least! Breakfasts cooked option was very limited and small portions. Although the waitresses did their best, a bit more organisation is needed (maybe 1 waitress serves designated tables) I would definitely look to go back there.
