With a transfer time of around 2 hours from Geneva, the iconic ski resort of Verbier in Switzerland is a brilliant option for a short ski break, with fantastic skiing both on and off-piste and an incredible variety of terrain for the intermediate and advanced skier or boarder.

The excellent 3* Hotel Mirabeau is in central Verbier, within a minute's walk of the main Médran ski lifts. Offering a cosy, chalet-like style, this family-friendly hotel is potentially the perfect choice for a ski holiday in a wonderful resort.

With just 23 bedrooms, early booking is recommended. Bedrooms are cosy and functional with a good range of facilities, including 3 rooms for single travellers. Bedrooms fuse the traditional with the modern and are split over three floors. South-facing rooms have a private balcony and views of the Alps, while north-facing rooms have no balcony. Standard rooms can normally be made up with a twin or double bed and all rooms have Wi-Fi, ensuite bathroom with WC, satellite TV, radio and telephone.

Your booking will be made on a Bed & Breakfast basis with a lovely fresh buffet provided each morning. Dining out in the evenings will not leave you short of choice, as there is a great choice of places nearby to cater to all tastes and budgets.

The hotel has a small spa area including a sauna and steam bath. There is also ski storage with heated boot dryers and a ski shop on site, plus the opportunity to buy your lift pass at the hotel. On departure day there is a shower and changing area to allow you to ski on your last day after checking out of your room.
