This package holiday to Hotel Magic Pas in Pas De La Casa, Andorra departs Sunday 23rd March 2025, for a 7 night stay on a "half board" board basis. A local tourist tax (Taxe de Sejour or Kurtaxe) is levied by many councils in European ski resorts. It varies by standard and type of accommodation and is age dependent, so not everyone is charged. It's not included in the basic price of your holiday and is usually paid locally. For reference, the average charged in winter 2024 was between €1 and €3 per person, per night.

Probably best known for its après ski culture and long sunny days, Pas is the liveliest ski village in Andorra and with boundless opportunities both on and off the slopes, you may well be in need of another holiday when you get back. As part of the largest ski domain in the Pyrenees, the skiing is not to be sniffed at - and with cut price heli-skiing on the cards it’s a brilliant choice as a second trip for snowsports aficionados.

Not only is Pas de la Casa the highest ski resort in the Pyrenees (it sits at a lofty 2100m), but it’s also the sunniest. The après ski scene is arguably one of the best in Europe, and the resort is also home to some of the best shopping in the country… so far, so good! The first lift was installed by ski legend Francesc Viladomat in 1956, and the resort has been growing ever since. The village of Grau Roig was soon incorporated into the ski area, and when the resorts joined forces (and linked lifts) with ...
The variety of terrain is apparent as soon as you leave the village- from the six seater Font Negre or the smaller Costa Rodonda you’ll be able to access one of the regions snowparks, the boardercross track, beginners zone and a freeriding area. The beginners area at the base of the valley has a few incredibly gentle lifts and approachable nursery slopes and at the end of the day all levels of skier can ski right down into the village – the red/blue Tubs will take you virtually to the door of your hotel. ...
Pas de La Casa really comes into its own when it comes to the après scene, with locals and tourists alike taking liberal advantage of the duty free drink prices and late opening times. Eating out is much cheaper than you’d expect in a ski resort as well- most of the restaurants serve a selection of family friendly European food, though you’ll be able to find some local Andorran specialties (such as the warming escudella stew) at Costa Rodona. There’s a McDonalds and a Burger King for the unadventurous, w...

"Been better on previous years"

Mark, Milton Keynes
3/ out of 5
I’ve been skiing in Pas de la Casa for the past 10 years now and after my 2016 stay the Magic is definitely getting a bit dated, they need to do it up. It’s still the second best hotel in Pas de la Casa though. The location is the main thing as you go out of the back door and you’re virtually on the slopes, you just walk down past Paddy’s and you’re there. The food has definitely hit the floor, it was diabolical this time round, and they’ve stopped letting you use the sauna and Jacuzzi, you have to pay for it now. Staff aren't as helpful as they used to be either, the night porter would make you walk half a mile to get to the front door, rather than letting you through the back door like they used to.

"Going back next year!"

The food was good and the accommodation was very clean, really liked the steam room. We were very close to all the shops and the ski area – it was probably 150m to the slopes, a 5 minute walk if that. You’re right in the centre of town, you literally go in the front door and there are shops next door and the 5th floor brings you back out to street level. The food was basic but there was plenty of it and the service was really good, everyone seemed to really enjoy staying here and we will be going back to the same place next year.
