The hotel is really nice, the food was good (a mixture of French and other stuff). Rooms were small and basic but that’s ski holidays for you. The hotel has a bar area but we didn’t use it so I can’t comment on that! Location is perfect as you’re right on the slopes. + more

Run by the charming Garcin family, the Val Chavière is one of our most popular hotels in Val Thorens, offering a very warm welcome and a friendly, relaxed atmosphere in a superb ski-in/out location. The hotel is deservedly popular with our guests and is excellent value. In particular, the quality and quantity of the food served is often singled out for praise and the reason that many return to this hotel.

Food and drink

You will be spoilt for choice during meal times, each morning a hearty breakfast buffet is available and when you return from a day on the slopes a five course meal awaits you. Evening meals have a set menu created using fresh and seasonal produce, and you can look forward to a weekly Savoyard evening with fondue, singing and music.

When you have returned from a day on the slopes the hotel bar is an ideal spot to catch up with your friends and family, enjoy a cocktail or a glass of wine then head to the games room where you can find a pool table, cards and various board games.

Great location

With a fantastic location in Val Thorens, the Val Chavière is a short walk to the vibrant resort centre where you can find a range of shops, bars and restaurants.
