The four-star Latini promises a comfortable stay, and it's easy to see why. Everything from the friendly and charming staff to the hotel's impressive list of facilities means you'll be incredibly well looked after here. Getting on to the mountains is easy too. Kaprun and the glacier are close by, or the high-speed multi-stage Areitbahn gondola station is about a five-minute walk away.
The hotel is in the small village of Schuttdorf, just outside of Zell am See on the way over to Kaprun. This means the views are as impressive as its facilities with lofty views of the Kitzsteinhorn Glacier in Karpun from many parts of the hotel.
Your bedroom is very comfortable and finished in a traditional style so lots of light wood-panelling and mountain colours for a calming and restful sleep. The comfort carries right the way through the hotel as the inviting Gold Spa with its large and ultra-modern indoor swimming pool the and many laid-back public areas all have a modern interpretation on a traditional Austrian style.
Nightlife in Schuttdorf is quiet with just a couple of small bars (including the popular Dorfshenke bar), but it's easy enough to get into Zell with by walking which takes around 25mins or hop in a cab for around €15. Alternatively, just head back for an aperitif in the hotels’ Uno Bar before sitting down to a delicious meal.

The spa at the Latini perfectly suits the rest of the hotel; luxurious and very relaxing. The whole area is beautifully designed in a modern style with lots of glass and pine, but the main attraction has to be the large indoor heated pool in the James Bond villain style lair!
Loosen those muscles up with a gentle swim before heading to the sauna and steam room to purge those toxins. Or for a bit more indulgence, refuel your energies after a day on the slopes with a relaxing spa treatment.
With 105 rooms, you have a good amount of choice! Large and light bedrooms with beautifully crafted wood panels each have super-comfy, high quality mattresses, a small lounge area, bathroom with hairdryer, towel warmer, shower and wc.
Other facilities include cable TV, free Wi-Fi and a minisafe for your valuables.
Food is a really important part of your holiday and the Latini doesn't disappoint there either. The half board meals are a delight with a diverse range of cuisine throughout the week.
Ensure a perfect start to your day with an extensive hot and cold breakfast with cereals and an organic food corner. Afternoon tea with home-made cakes and gateaus is served between 3 and 5pm. Your evening meal four-courses of foodie heaven with a mix of buffet and waiter served dishes and a themed buffet evening throughout the week. Delicious!
