The Lärchenhof is a stylish hotel, renowned for the quality of its cuisine. Run by the Marcati family, the hotel offers comfortable rooms and a high standard of service. With a spa area that includes a wide variety of spa treatments as well as an indoor pool, you'll be able to relax after a hard day's skiing. The setting is peaceful and yet the village centre is only a short walk away.

The Ski-Alm at the bottom of the Rosshütte is the most popular place to kick off an evening of après. For a classy sherry together after a day on the slopes head into the Hotel Klosterbräu’s Piano Bar and relax by the fire. "best hotel in Austria I’ve stayed in"

We were upgraded to this hotel because the sister hotel was being refurbished – it’s excellent, superb! The food was out of this world, a five course menu every night with a choice – beyond belief. It’s a really lovely hotel; they’ve got a swimming pool and spa area, a beautiful lounge area and some seating outside. I had a lovely room, my bed was a bit hard but all the beds in Austria are like that. They bought up an extra duvet so I could be more comfortable. There was a little balcony which was lovely. The only thing is that it’s up the hill from the village, when I got back from skiing all day I couldn’t be bothered to walk down to any of the activities there. The evening meal was at 7-9pm and they did so many courses you were there for a while, so if you did want to go to the activities in the village you’d be late. Having said that, they did three special evenings – one was a farmer’s buffet where they had a buffet all night (the buffet was out of this world). Then they had live music another night with a pianist and a gala night where they had a 7-8 course supper. To get to the mountains, there’s a little path directly down. You can leave your ski boots in the hire shop over night, so you don’t have to walk up and down in boots. Then ski buses take you to the two mountains – no problem at all with them.
