There are many reasons why the Hotel Jägerwirt is so popular - but one that really stands out is the service. From the moment you arrive, the friendly team will be waiting to welcome you with a smile. The hotel is beautifully traditional with Tyrolean hunting lodge-style decor running throughout. Kids and adults alike can go for a splash or get in a few early evening laps in the indoor pool, and there's a separate wellness suite with Finnish sauna and steam room to help revitalise the body.
The local ski bus stops right outside the Jägerwirt, although it’s only about a 10-minute walk to the Hahnenkamm gondola, which will whisk you up into the Kitzbühel ski area. It’s also about 5 minutes to the resort centre, where you’ll find a great selection of boutique shops and popular bars for a spot of designer shopping, après ski or dancing until the early hours.
If you don’t want to venture too far in the evening, the hotel boasts an in-house sports bars – showing all the top football matches on Sky Sports and serving the most delicious burgers. Alternatively, the more sedate hotel bar has a comfy lounge area where you can relax and chat about your day’s adventures.
The food in the Jägerwirt is a delicious mix of Tyrolean specialities and dishes from further afield - and there's a great wine menu to complement your meals. Breakfasts are a hearty affair too - with a wide selection of cereals, fruit, breads, cold meats and cheeses, along with hot bacon and eggs to warm you up before a day out on the mountain.

Austrian twin beds
Austrian twin beds are very common in Central Europe. They’re simply one large bed frame containing two single mattresses, both with separate duvets and linen sets, that cannot be separated. Separate twin beds are less common and can often be head to head beds, rather than side by side, if they are available.
