Very traditional. Not quite ‘my cup of tea’. Slightly old school. Staff were very friendly and helpful though. Food was good, never had Austrian food before. Nothing to write home about. Our stay at Hotel Helga was a highlight during our 3 week trip through Europe. The hotel is well situated and the town center, ski hire outlets and ski lifts are all within an easy 5 to 10 minute walk. The owners, Helga and Franz, are incredibly hospital and accommodating. The hotel surpasses its superior three star rating by offering superb personal service and quality. Lovingly run by the Kratzer family, nothing is too much trouble for Helga and her husband Franz and their humour and hospitality will make you feel very welcome.

Hearty breakfast

Great for lovers of good food, the hotel offers an excellent home-cooked breakfast featuring organic produce.

Hotel Helga is available on bed & breakfast basis. The centre of Seefeld has lots of great restaurants and bars to explore.

On Tuesdays the hotel offers a schnitzel evening for guests to try this traditional Austrian dish.

Had to walk far to get to the slopes. But was a warm up for cross country in a way. Go for a higher resort. Not the best for cross country. Resort is not high so can close if there is no snow. 3.5/5

Our stay at Hotel Helga was a highlight during our 3 week trip through Europe. The hotel is well situated and the town center, ski hire outlets and ski lifts are all within an easy 5 to 10 minute walk. The owners, Helga and Franz, are incredibly hospital and accommodating. Rooms are very, very comfortable, spacious and spotless. The highlight must be the impressive dinner served each night; five course filled with local ingredients. Our only regret is that we could not stay longer.
