The hotel was all good, no complaints about the food from the group who ate there, the rooms were almost perfect, a couple of doubles, not singles, or Austrian twins but sharing a bed was no issues. I’ve been going there 10 years which should be enough to show you how good this hotel is! It’s a big traditional Austrian hotel and the family who run the place always give me a warm welcome – it’s so nice to always go back somewhere you feel comfortable. Caringly run by our good friend Frau Weiss, the Hotel Eggerwirt is centrally located in Söll and well loved for its high standards of service.

A family favourite

This family-run hotel has a comfortable lounge with open fireplace and is full of Tyrolean charm and character. guests return year after year for the warm welcome and relaxed atmosphere.

Dining

The hotel offers an extensive buffet breakfast everyday with cooked options including eggs and pancakes. You can enjoy a three course evening meal with choice of main dish plus salad buffet six days of the week. From 4th January 2025 there is no evening meals on Wednesdays. This gives you the chance to explore the local restaurants Söll has to offer.

Between the Wilder Kaiser Mountains and the Hohe Salve (one of Austria’s highest peaks), Söll is the main resort in the Ski Welt - Austria’s second-largest lift-linked ski area. Getting here is easy - you are no more than an hour away from Innsbruck airport and those travelling by rail can get here in about 15 minutes from Wörgl. Beginners will find a high standard of learning facilities in the area, with Skischule Söll providing many courses for different age groups. Great location, pop in sort yourself out and then get out and about in no time at all, we liked to get amongst it to see what Soll had to offer. In regard to the slopes it was either a 5 min shuttle or a 20 mins walk, we had no issues with this.

I’ve been going there 10 years which should be enough to show you how good this hotel is! It’s a big traditional Austrian hotel and the family who run the place always give me a warm welcome – it’s so nice to always go back somewhere you feel comfortable. You’ve got a sauna and a good dining room and the bedrooms are always nice. I always eat here and they do a good choice of foods. Breakfast is the full works with boiled or scrambled eggs, a selection of hams and cheeses, cornflakes, juices and more. You select your main dish for the evening meal at breakfast-time, so everything is made to order. You’ve got the ski store down below and the bus stops right outside the door.
