Overview: hotel description: Hotel Dolomiti, Canazei description

The Dolomiti was one of the first hotels in Canazei and it has a grand look, from the colourful shutters to the ornate paintings on the walls. For getting on the slopes, the Belvedere Sellaronda gondola is just a 6-minute walk away. Or hop on the ski bus that stops less than 2 minutes away and you’ll be there in no time.

Inside, the communal areas are as elaborate and historic as the outside – with high vaulted ceilings, original wood panelling and stone walls. There’s a popular bar downstairs that hosts regular live music and DJ sets, as well as a quieter lounge for relaxing and chatting. There’s also a small wellness area available for an extra charge, with a sauna, steam room and hot tub. And you can pay to use the indoor pool at the Hotel Il Caminetto, 11 minutes’ walk away, too.

You'll enjoy meals in one of the many interconnected dining rooms. Fuel up for the day from the varied breakfast buffet and, in the evenings, there are themed dinners with Ladin, Tyrolean, Italian and international dishes, as well as a candlelit gala dinner.
