Hotel Diamant was one of the first hotels to be opened in San Cassiano and is proudly run by the Rudiferia family. As soon as you step into the hotel the warmth and attention to detail stands out with beautiful wooden interiors and inviting furniture to sit back and relax. The hotel's located in the centre of the village, just 800 metres from the main lift. There's a free shuttle bus at set times to get you there and back each day.
The star of the show here is the spa. It's split over two floors and has everything you could want to relax your legs after skiing. On the first floor you can relax in the Finnish sauna, bio sauna or steam bath before heading to the second floor where you'll find an indoor pool, whirlpool and a tea corner with comfortable loungers and waterbeds. If the weathers nice, you can soak up some winter sun on the terrace which has lovely views of the Dolomites. If you want to stay active, there is a fitness room with a panoramic window. To completely unwind, massages and treatments are available for a local fee.
Food is important to the hotel so you can expect some great dishes made with local ingredients. Each morning an extensive breakfast buffet is served which includes a selection of breads from the local bakery, pastries, cereals, museli, cold meats and cheeses. When you return from a day on the slopes the hotel sets out a buffet with fruits, soups, cheeses and sweet treats to keep you going until dinner time. Each evening you can enjoy a four-course meal with a daily salad buffet, a choice of starters, main courses and desserts. Throughout the week there are special evenings - Tyrolean cheese specialties, dessert buffets and a gala dinner with an aperitif. There's over 160 different types of wine in the hotel's cellar too, be sure to ask the staff for their recommendations.

For such a tiddly, traditional village, San Cassiano has a tremendous amount of luxury: dine in 2 and 3 Michelin starred restaurants, sleep in 4 and 5 star hotels and when you’re not roaming the dizzyingly pretty pistes of the Dolomites, spend time in rooftop pools and spas.
