The Hotel Der Waldhof is family-run and full of attractive traditional features combined with a modern influence. Convenience is key at this hotel, with a great position next to the piste and the main City Xpress gondola just a short ski or walk away, you can ski back to the hotel at the end of the day.

Ski-in, ski-out

A blue piste directly behind the hotel leading to the main City Xpress gondola offers ski-in, ski-out on the popular family mountain Schmitten.

To explore Zell’s Areitbahn gondola and Kaprun ski area, the ski bus stop is just one minute walk from the hotel.

If you want to explore more of Zell am See, the town centre is just a ten minute walk downhill.

Family friendly

The hotel prides itself on being a family-run hotel and caters to other families and couples with an excellent level of service.

The indoor playland offers two playrooms for different age groups. For young ones there is a ball pit and climbing tower with slide, along with a dedicated painting corner. For older children there is a playroom with board games, games consoles and goal wall.

The hotel offers a range of room types which make it easy for families to stay together.

Directly behind the Hotel Der Waldhof is the public toboggan run where you can enjoy fun runs in the evenings, dependent on snow conditions. You can borrow a toboggan from the hotel free of charge. The hotel also has table tennis, pool table and table football.

Relaxation

A trip to the Waldhof wouldn't be complete without enjoying their two spa areas. The Family Spa has textile saunas and an indoor pool which everyone can enjoy.
