You can find Löwe LEBE FREI right in the middle of Leogang, so exploring the village is easy from here. It's a peaceful place where après time is more about pampering than partying, but a get together at the hotel bar makes for some good middle ground. You’ll want to make use of the hotel’s shuttle service when it comes to hitting the slopes – it’s a short ride from here to the Steinbergbhan gondola, which is your ticket off to the wider ski area.

Live Free is the motto of the Madreiter family, who have been running the place for generations now. Rupert and co. like to keep up a family tradition of entertaining guests and building lasting friendships that started with his grandmother, the original innkeeper. The hotel’s modernised quite a bit since those days, but wholesomeness is still key here. They've even been awarded with the EU Ecolabel, which they're very proud of and goes to show just how focused they are on sustainability and tradition.

The hotel also has some excellent spa facilities. The Leonarium is up on the fifth floor, ready for you to relax in whatever fashion takes your fancy. With paid treatments, a range of saunas, a peaceful tea bar and more, you can go with the flow and find your chill factor. Under 14s won’t be able to visit the Leonarium, but the fun’s downstairs anyway – there’s an indoor pool, plus a geothermal heated outdoor pool that are ideal for splashing around with the family.
