· 15 minutes' walk or 5-minute bus ride to the resort centre · 10 minutes' walk to the Col Raiser and Saslong lifts · ski bus stop outside
The family-run Bel Mont has been under the care of the Perathoner brothers since 1966. It's next door to a gentle slope aimed at families where little skiiers can find their feet, plus there's a ski bus stop right outside so getting to the main ski area is as simple as hopping on.
Fresh white walls, tiled floors and wood panelling give the communal areas a modern feel, and the bedrooms are decorated in a more traditional Italian style. Downstairs, the spa is perfect for chilling out after skiing. Swim a few lengths of the indoor pool or head to the sauna, steam room or hot tub to relax.
Choose from sweet and savoury options at the buffet breakfast each day, and look forward to a 4-course evening meal. You'll have a choice of main, and there are buffets full of side dishes, vegetables and desserts to pick from too. After dinner, enjoy a drink at the bar before bed.

•Traditional Dolomite village •Linked ski area •Access to Sella Ronda
‘Charming’ is used a lot do describe ski resorts but it’s hard to find a better word for St Cristina, a sporadically built Dolomite village at the foot of the Sassolungo mountain, complete with an ancient church and a fairytale castle.
