· 10 minutes’ walk to the centre of Les Arcs 1800 · 1 minute’s walk to the Charmettoger gondola · 10 minutes’ walk to the ski school meeting point · 1 minute’s walk to the Jardin Enfants or 10 minutes’ walk to the nursery slope · 1 minute’s walk to the ski bus stop
At Hotel Altezza, you can be a savvy skier and be one of the first on the snow each morning – the Charmettoger gondola’s right on your doorstep, ready to jump start your ski day. Great news for families and first timers too, there’s a handy nursery slope right outside as well.
When you’re back from the slopes, swap the salopettes for a swimsuit and head on down to the Nuxe spa. There’s nothing like a good steam after a day’s skiing and there’s a heated indoor pool too – instant and toasty relaxation. To finish off with peak ski vibes though, head outside and dip a toe in the hot tub. Kicking back in the bubbles, surrounded by snow, it’s hard to beat.
Breakfasts and evening meals are served up buffet style here. If you’re feeling fancy though, pay a bit extra and you can marvel at show cooking on the terrace or indulge in the special delicacies menu. The hotel has a well-stocked wine cellar too, with a quality selection from all over France – so you should have no trouble finding a superior wine to compliment your Savoyard delights each evening.
