· 4 minutes' walk from the resort centre · shuttle bus stop just outside to the Heavenly Gondola station (departing every 15 minutes)
This winter we welcome one of the most famous hotel establishments onto our programme, the Hard Rock Hotel. Known for its eclectic, and impressive, collection of musical memorabilia, from the likes of Johnny Cash, The Monkees and the Sex Pistols, the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Lake Tahoe in Heavenly, is definitely one for the music lovers.
Located just a 6-minute walk from the Heavenly Gondola, and with fabulous views of Lake Tahoe in one direction, and its gorgeous alpine peaks in another, the hotel is in a fabulous spot on the border of California and Nevada.
The rooms at the Hard Rock are modern and plush, decorated with browns, red and oranges to create a warming atmosphere after a day in the snow. Rooms also include a flatscreen TV, and WiFi to keep in touch with loved ones at home.
And you can’t stay at the Hard Rock Hotel without spending some time in the newest and hottest casino in South Lake Tahoe. The 25,000 square foot space has 500 gaming tables and video gaming machines, all surrounded by famous rock-and-roll memorabilia. You may also get lucky and catch one of the renowned concerts that the hotel hosts throughout the year.
After a day on the slopes, you can also enjoy a dip in the heated outdoor pool, or treat yourself to a cocktail or two in one of the four hotel bars – you can even watch the sunset with a drink in hand around one of the outdoor fire pits. And when it comes to food, you don’t have to venture far from the hotel to find something delicious, as there are three restaurants on site, including a fresh oyster bar, for you to peruse. If you’re just feeling peckish, the Fuel coffee shop serves up drinks, cakes and sandwiches.
Please note:
A mandatory resort charge per room is payable locally. This charge supplements facilities and amenities like WiFi, local phone calls, newspapers and pool access.

Parties with guests under 21 years are able to stay at the hotel, providing there is at least one adult aged 21 years or above booking the room - however, these minors are still unable to access the casino facilities.
