The undisturbed atmosphere here means Gressoney is, on the whole, quiet for much of the season, so a last minute getaway to this beautiful location in the Aosta Valley is always a good idea.

Much of the piste is above 2000m and is very well maintained which means you should ski good quality snow whenever in the season you visit. Powder dumps in high volume, while not always consistent, are common, and make for some of the best skiing in the Aosta Valley, both on and off-piste.
