The main resorts in Graubünden are some of the oldest and most prestigious ski destinations in the world, but that doesn’t always mean they come with a hefty price tag.

For all travellers, but especially families and groups, Davos is a great destination because it has so many terrific facilities (as well as a world-class ski area). You’ll find the biggest natural ice rink in Europe, two train stations with brilliant rail links, 9 toboggan runs, a casino, a 3D cinema, the Eau-là-là Wellness and Pool Centre and loads of other fun things to keep you and your loved ones entertained. Klosters is only a 20 minute train ride away, so you can always stay there for the cute chocolate-box mountain village atmosphere and then travel over if you need some shopping or other amenities. Klosters has plenty of its own great activities anyway, and the same is true for stylish St. Moritz, which has some of the best up-market hotels around and a popular après-ski scene.
