The Gielas building is set back around 250 metres from the village centre, with the ski centre approximately 1 kilometre away from the hotel. The nearest ski bus stop is outside the hotel.

The Gielas Hotel has an excellent location in Saariselkä, set back around 250 metres from the main village. Its location makes it a great starting point for outdoor activities such as tobogganing, winter walking, cross-country skiing, and participating in optional extra excursions such as Northern Light experiences and snowmobile safaris.
The hotel offers superior rooms furnished in a simplistic style that have been designed to provide a cosy retreat after a day out in the snow. The rooms are equipped with everything you need for a Lapland holiday, including a balcony overlooking the resort, free Wi-Fi, drying closest, tea and coffee making facilities and a sauna.
After a day of skiing or participating in one of our excursions, the lounge and bar area is an ideal spot to curl up next to the fire with a hot chocolate. Alternatively, enjoy adrink in the Bar & Grill Pirtti, which has a laid-back home away from home feel, or sit back and relax with the live entertainment, which is frequently on during the winter season.
Gielas Hotel guests have breakfast in their own hotel and take dinner in the main building of the Tunturi Hotel.

Superior Twin Room sleeps two to four people, recommended for two adults and two children or three adults, and are around 30 m2. These rooms have twin beds, and an additional sofa bed for one adult or two children
Single Superior Room is sole occupancy of the twin room

Gielas Hotel guests have an extensive hot and cold buffet breakfast served in Restaurant Kaltio, located on the ground floor of the Gielas building.
All evening meals are served in the Tunturi Hotel's main building (approx. 100 metre walk). This is a three course buffet dinner with a choice of main courses, including a vegetarian option, two desserts, soup and a salad buffet.
New Years gala dinner and dance included.
