Overview: hotel description: Foersterhaus zum Kramerwirt description

The Foersterhaus zum Kramerwirt is a perfect pick if you're looking for good value and comfortable accommodation along with the great facilities and service that a four star hotel offers.

The Foersterhaus zum Kramerwirt is an annexe building of the Alpenhotel Kramerwirt and located 50 metres from the main hotel. It's located in the centre of Mayrhofen, just a short walk to the gondola stations and with a ski bus stop nearby. It's also conveniently located above the popular Billa supermarket - early deliveries may cause some light noise but we think this is favourable and a perfect opportunity to grab some rolls or snacks for a cheap and cheerful lunch.

Breakfast and evening meals are served in the main hotel building.

Transfer time: approx. 1 hour by coach from Innsbruck airport.

The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. The hotel itself was really lovely and it was all unfaultable really. We initially had a mix up with the rooms on the booking from the hotel’s side, but the hotel managed to sort it out and we got a really large room with a balcony & terrace which was great. I can really recommend the hotel, we had a really nice holiday! The food was really nice. The restaurant experience was nice and the waiters were lovely. It was literally a 10min walk from the slopes/ski lift. Or you could get the bus and the busses ran very regularly.

Very nice. Relatively basic rooms but to be expected for the budget of the holiday. The holiday was exactly what we were after. Very good breakfast in particular. Meals in the neighbouring hotel worked well. Very good evening meals, but not great at dealing with allergies – but probably just due to of a language barrier. Nice having our own table. Great location next to a bus stop, easier to do that then walking in ski boots. Definitely worth visiting Hoch Zillertal. You can get there on valley train for free.
