Occupying the ground floor of Chalet Shalimar is Elena, the perfect family apartment sleeping eight people in four spacious bedrooms.

All of the bedrooms can be made up as twin or double bedrooms and all have en-suite bathrooms with separate showers.

Equipped with the finest Egyptian cotton linen, bathrobes, slippers, and luxury bathroom products, this sophisticated apartment provides the perfect alpine retreat.

Elena is nestled in the enclave of Winkelmatten, the atmospheric centre of Zermatt is a 15-minute scenic walk away or a short ride in an electric taxi.

At the heart of Chalet Shalimar is the wellness area and spa. Elena shares these facilities with the penthouse apartment Alex, which sleeps 12 people and occupies the two top floors of the Zermatt chalet. There is a sauna, hammam, massage room, and a wonderful indoor swimming pool.

Elena is extremely spacious as it is two apartments seamlessly joined together with an interconnecting door. There are two open plan living and dining rooms, both with floor to ceiling sliding doors, which open out onto the lovely garden and terrace.

The flexibility of the property allows the whole group to relax together or should you wish to find a quiet corner for some peace and quiet there is plenty of space.

Overlooking the dining area is the open plan kitchen, where guests can watch their chef prepare the finest cuisine through the week.

While the adults enjoy a glass of champagne on the terrace and take in the wonderful views of the Matterhorn, the children can play in the snow right in front of the chalet.

The ski and boot room is located on the ground floor.

Elena is sold on a catered or self-catered basis.
