If you’re keeping an eye out for good-value self-catering ski accommodation, then the Cybele Apartments in Brides-les-Bains may be the one for you.

Just 300m from the charming resort centre, and only a short shuttle bus ride away from the Olympe Gondola, sits the seven-storey apartment building housing 132 recently renovated studios and apartments. Each one is spacious and simple, with laminate flooring, light-wood furnishings and WiFi. The dining, living and kitchen areas blur into one, encouraging a real social atmosphere, and some even have separate double bedrooms.

Kitchenettes come as standard in both studios and apartments – with hobs and a mini-oven or microwave – allowing you to whip up fuel-filled breakfasts and delicious dinners. What’s more, there’s a well-stocked Spar supermarket just around the corner, so you don’t have to go far for a fresh loaf of bread.

If you fancy trying out some local cuisine, then there’s no need to go far – the Cybele has its own rustic and cosy restaurant to enjoy a meal or two in.

Elsewhere in the complex you’ll find an indoor swimming pool and whirlpool, a sauna (with one free session per week), a restaurant and a games room.
