Really comfortable chalet, the lower floor can get a little noisy but as you are only there to sleep at night it is not a problem. We booked the whole of Toubkal 1 between my parents, my wife and I and our son (2) and we all got on very well. Katie was fantastic, she cooked our son's meals ready for 5:30 and al... + more

Toubkal One is a great set up. The chalet is well laid out and has everything you need. It is at the bottom of the Moretta Blanche run. It is a red run however you can make it most of the way down on a green and the last bit red. Our 6 and 8 year old had no problem with it. Mornings it is very easy, skis on poi... + more

Overview: chalet description: Chalet Toubkal One description

Chalet Toubkal One is one half of a chalet, that was built and designed by its owner. The modern open living area is really bright and comfortable for six people and has a cosy wood burner....

There is access to the balcony that looks onto the piste, with views beyond. There are two double bedrooms and one twin all with en-suite facilities. At the end of a days skiing you can relax on the large terrace or use the chalet sauna.

The chalet shares the boot room and sauna with it's neighbour Toubkal Two, both are separate chalets and have their own entrances and private balconies, but for larger groups they can be booked together to accommodate up to 12/13 people.

The chalet can only be booked for sole use.

The boot room leads straight onto the piste, which is only 100 metres to the main telecabine, giving you true ski in ski out. The chalet is at the very bottom of the Moretta Blanche red run, it is very easy to get from the chalet to the telecabine for all levels. Ski Schools meet next to the cabine. To ski to the chalet you can choose the red or the green, the green crosses over the red around 100 metres from the chalet. The walk to the village centre in the evening will take around five minutes.

Good wholesome and appetizing food is an essential part of any chalet holiday and that is precisely what we provide with the very best local produce.

All our quality catered chalets, start the day with a hearty breakfast. Please see our menu below. Return to your chalet at tea time to a baked cake or biscuits with tea, coffee or hot chocolate.

Shortly before dinner you can enjoy canapés with your fellow guests. Your carefully prepared dinner comprises of three-courses, complimented with a choice of four quality French wines. You will also be provided with a cheese board of locally selected cheeses for the week, which you can enjoy at your own leisure.

Tea and coffee are available for you during the day for you to help yourself to for the duration of your stay.

Special Dietary Requirements

We are happy to introduce the choice of a revised menu/cakes when requested with adequate notice. There will be a charge of £39 per person for this service. Please note our chalet hosts are not professional chefs.

Staff Days Off

Tuesday is our staff's full day off and on this day a continental self serve breakfast of hams and cheese will be laid out. You will also have fresh bread, cereals, fruit and yoghurts as usual.

You will be able to sample one of the many restaurants on a Tuesday and Thursday evening, our staff will be happy to recommend and help you with the booking of this.

On Saturday morning you will reiceve a delivery of of freshly baked croissants and pain au chocolate to your chalet. You will also have fresh bread, cereals, fruit and yoghurts as usual.

We update Chalet Toubkal One's details often, but facilities do change. e.g. some extras listed by the supplier as "free" or included might only be for the first time you use them, or for one time per party, then charged for further use. If any specific feature is essential to your holiday, make sure you ask us to confirm the details of it before you book your holiday.

...we were left very impressed on all accounts. Firstly - the Toubkal one has to be one of the most perfectly placed chalets available - right on the piste, quick and easy ski down to the main lifts and direct access to the heated boot room and sauna to use at the end of a day on the slopes....it doesn't get any better. The chalet is contemporary chic with an African tribal twist, it is an interesting building in layout and is both practical in as much as there is more than enough room for everyone to sit on the large sofas around the log burner and also around the large dining table. The bedrooms are simply decorated but are comfortable with a good size bathroom - we had the added bonus of having two doors that went straight outdoors...plenty of hot water for showers and large towels heated on the towel rails. The underfloor heating is great if padding around in socks ! I cannot praise our chalet host Sophie enough, anyone coming to the Toubkal One will be spoilt by her excellent cooking skills and attentiveness - we were looked after in every way and nothing was too much trouble for her. Having now experienced the chalet operator, i would say they are more personal in their touches and superior in their catering package than many other companies at the same price level. So - in short - if you want great skiing choices, great chalet services, great location and views, great personal touches - this is the one for you...we will be coming back !

Katie was fantastic, she cooked our son's meals ready for 5:30 and always questioned the day before what he might like and always went out of her way to make our stay more comfortable. This was our son's first ski holiday and he really enjoyed it. The food was fantastic every morning, tea and supper. I could not rate this high enough. Couple of issues with the chalet (slow running tap and intermittent light in a bathroom but these were both swiftly fixed)

Toubkal One is a great set up. The chalet is well laid out and has everything you need. It is at the bottom of the Moretta Blanche run. It is a red run however you can make it most of the way down on a green and the last bit red. Our 6 and 8 year old had no problem with it. Mornings it is very easy, skis on point downwards and you are at the main La Tania lift. The only slight drawback is that ESF kids ski school is further on from this and it is a slight pain carrying their skis up ( better still arrange with their instructor to meet them at the chair lift if they are going up the mountain). Jenny our chalet host was fantastic, excellent cook and she looked after us very well. Rob the rep was a great help, all in all an excellent week with no complaints.
