Overview: chalet description: Chalet Secret de Neige description

A modern, contemporary take on a traditional alpine ski chalet, Secret de Neige provides beauty and comfort both inside and out. We're certain you'll fall in love with this chalet, with it's unique, quirky décor and it's elevated south-facing terrace where you'll find good views of the mountains day and night. Providing access to a heated ski room and a well deserved sauna, Chalet Secret de Neige doesn't need to try hard to tick all the right boxes.

Ideal for groups

With 6 bedrooms and the possibility to accommodate up to 14 people, invite your family - and your friends - to spend a week in luxury. The attractive lounge area invites for socialising and relaxation after an active day on the runs. Due to it's large size, Secret de Neige is the ideal if you and your party are looking to spend quality time together away from home.

Perfect location

If you like hitting the slopes as early as possible and getting back in time for the après ski, you'll benefit choosing this catered ski chalet. Located 100metres from the ski lifts and 150metres from the busy and appealing resort centre of Alpe d'Huez, you'll be right in the heart of all the action.

Relaxation facilities

Make the most of the outdoors and enjoy breakfast on the large south-facing terrace that is sure to get a lot of sunshine- alternatively, you can enjoy a glass of wine here in the evening and watch the sunset over the mountain peaks. Chalet Secret de Neige is also a great choice if you'd like to recharge your muscles before another ski day and what better way to do this then popping your gear in the heated ski room before spending some much needed time in the chalets sauna.

Why is this a choice property?

Great for large groups - This catered ski chalet is an excellent choice if you and your group are looking to have a space to call your own on your ski holiday. The chalet provides everything you'll need for a week in the mountains, including a sauna and heated ski and boot room.

Ideal location - Secret de Neige allows you to maximise your time on the slopes as it is located a short distance from the ski lifts and the resort centre of Alpe d'Huez.

Modern design - Chalet Secret de Neige is a 4.5 star for good reason. Finished to an exceptionally high standard, the interior is a contemporary take on a traditional French wooden chalet.

With a transfer time of around 2 hours, Alpe d'Huez is very accessible from Grenoble or Chambery airport. Established in 1936, it was the first resort in France to be installed with a fully operational ski lift. The resort lies in the Grandes Rousses Massif domain. It is partnered by the smaller mountain villages of Auris-en-Oisans, Villard Reculas, Oz-en-Oisans, Vaujany and La Garde, all of which are connected by a free transport system. The slopes are mainly south facing and as a result the area, known as "...
Alpe d’Huez has had sun and snow galore since 1936, and with the culmination of around 20 Million Euros of improvements due to come to fruition for 2021, there is a huge ski area to be explored. With a whopping 52km of greens, this is an excellent place for beginners. The easiest skiing is above the village and Les Bergers. There are plenty of wide-open runs underneath the DMC gondola, many being ‘beginners only’ so you can learn without too much traffic. If you’re feeling confident, try some of the bl...
If you like live music, try the Underground in Vieil Alpe. It combines a pleasant atmosphere with bands playing most nights. Smithy’s has drinks promotions and healthy portions of Tex-Mex food to match. If you can’t bear to miss an important game whilst in France, O’Sharkey’s is the best spot to watch live sports. L’igloo is the place to go if you want to party late into the night. Alpe d’Huez has all of the usual culinary delights you’d expect in the mountains. To sample some traditional French food, ...
