Location: where is Chalet Santons

Skis On! - The Chalet building offers a unique position, in the sought-after Praz de la Legettaz area, right on the piste with a very easy pisted path taking you directly to the Solaise bubble. It is ideal for getting to ski school or being the first on the slopes every day. It is possible also to ski back to the chalet via the steep black run, Epaule de Charvet, or via the red run, Santons. For beginners, the bus would be the best option to return to the property. The resort centre can be reached with a 10-15 minutes’ walk across the nursery slopes or otherwise with the local bus which runs every 15 minutes. The bus stop for the Train Blue route is literally a few steps from the door.

Overview: chalet description: Chalet Santons description

Traditional and with character- Chalet Santons is located on the first floor of a classic chalet building shared with chalets Cascade, Vallon and Charvet. The largest of the four chalets is naturally bright with several windows presenting beautiful views of the Bellevarde and it offers a generous open-plan dining and living area, a large square dining table and access to a balcony. A winning choice for large families or groups of friends.

Snug and friendly - It has a rustic soul and the living room area boasts plenty of comfortable leather sofas where you can enjoy the afternoon tea once back from the slopes, or an early evening drink in front of the central stone log fire. The typically French rooms with twin beds are not the most sizeable but they present good storage space and they are all en suite mostly with baths.

Essential perks– Chalet Santon will be a very attractive choice for passionate skiers and boarders due to the immediate access to the slopes, you can literally walk out from the door and step on your skis or board. Ready, set, ski! The chalet building has heated boot warmers in the basement and ski lockers at ground floor level. Free Wi-Fi is also included.

In France's Rhone Alp region, Val d'Isere (pronounced: val de saire/sare/ser or val d sere) is widely thought of as one of the most brilliant and beautiful ski areas in the world. In keeping with the giddyingly gorgeous surroundings, the resort itself is one of France's prettiest - a huddle alpine hamlets formed from cosy wood and stone chalets. With the original village dating back to the 13th century and a Christmas-card-worthy church steeple at its centre, there’s alpine charm by the bucket load. While dre...
Skiers in Val d'Isere are schussing in the tracks of some of the world's greatest skiers. Olympic medallists Marielle and Christine Goitschel learned to ski here, not to mention triple gold winner Jean-Claude Killy, after whom the wider ski area is named. As an indication of this place's premier status - the resort has hosted championships including the 1992 Olympics, the World Alpine Ski Championships in 2009 and World Cup events every December. If some of the best skiers in history have learned here, begi...
Famed for its après ski, there's no chance of a dull evening in Val. Living up to its name, you'll experience ‘sweet madness' at the original Le Folie Douce, which brings you some of the best après ski in Europe - including dancers, musicians, raining champagne and much more... Once that closes, Dicks T Bar's a local legend, staying open into the early hours each night. Bananas is another firm favourite, much loved for its crafty cocktails and slope-side location. In Val d'Isere's 90-something restaurants, ...
