Set in an absolutely superb position overlooking the blue slope leading to the Nassereinbahn, The Pinchbeck is a wonderful ground floor apartment offering ski-in/ski-out access, a much sought after but rarely found luxury in this leading Austrian resort*. It provides spacious and contemporary surroundings being fitted out to the highest of standards by its friendly British owners. There are three bedrooms which are all ensuite with each having its own door leading to a superb sunny balcony on which to enjoy a delicious afternoon tea or chilled glass of wine at the end of a strenuous day on the slopes.
The large stylish open plan living/dining room also has doors leading to the terrace overlooking the slope and St Anton itself. Access to the skiing couldn't be easier as its a case of literally putting your skis on outside the door and completing the short ski to the Nassereinbahn which links you into this vast ski circuit. The pedestrian zone in the main part of the village with its many bars, restaurants and shops can be accessed either by walking across the piste or via the local roads which will take about 15 minutes. There are though a few local bars and the popular apres-ski mountain stops are a short straight-forward ski away from your front door... You will be warmly welcomed to The Pinchbeck by one of our hand-selected chalet hosts who lives out.
Did You Know: Pinchbeck is a form of brass closely resembling gold, popular in the use of clock-making. We feel that Apartment Pinchbeck is definitely worthy of holding the highest podium position in our St Anton programme!
* Ski in/Ski Out dependent on snow conditions and standard of skier - whilst the run leading to Nassereinbahn is a blue, there is a short off-piste ski to access it.
We offer our properties on a flexible catering basis therefore providing our guests with as much choice as possible when choosing a fully-catered, part-catered or self-catered chalet or apartment. Your preferences will be discussed at the time of booking and a tailor-made itinerary will be costed based on your requirements.
Our chalet hosts all enjoy cooking and take pride in what they serve and whilst they are not necessarily qualified chefs, they have good experience of dinner party cooking and many of them will have attended one of the well-regarded cookery schools with whom we work closely to ensure the highest calibre of staff possible.
If choosing the fully catered or part catered option, you will be assured of good home-cooked food prepared and served by our specially selected chalet hosts. We do not offer luxury items or haute cuisine, we serve good wholesome hearty food fit for anyone after a hard day on the slopes. Menus will be varied and may include local dishes as well as the more traditional UK favourites such as roasts, lasagne or casseroles.
Our menus have been formed over many years taking into account previous guests’ likes and recommendations and whilst we believe this plan to offer excellent variety, there will be the odd occasion when a dish might not be well-received. We would ask you therefore that if you have any specific dietary requirements or a yearning for dishes in particular, you enquire before booking your holiday and provide us with as much notice as possible regarding specific diets such as vegetarian, vegan, celiac or non-dairy etc.
