Overview: chalet description: Chalet Phoebe description

New for 23-24 | We are delighted to add Chalet Phoebe to our portfolio of Meribel Chalets, a large free-standing Chalet that can accommodate up to 12 guests. The Chalet was totally renovated in 2018, creating a modern open plan kitchen looking through to the spacious dining area with a huge rustic wooden table. The living area is extremely comfortable with plenty of seating for a larger party. The focal point of the spacious and very light room is the rustic fireplace, just the spot for relaxing after a tiring day on the mountains. It is the perfect place to put your feet up in front of the fire enjoying a gin and tonic or glass of fizz unwinding before dinner begins.

The accommodation is spaciously arranged over four floors with one double/twin bedroom on the ground floor, two doubles and two double/twins on the first floor, and a large master double suite at the top. The bedrooms and bathrooms are modern and stylish, incorporating a bath with overhead shower in all but the top floor suite. All the bedrooms have access to a balcony, with stunning views of the resort. A separate TV area is always a great bonus in a chalet, especially if you have small children who need entertaining. The room has large, comfortable sofas and is a great chill out zone for both adults and children alike. The hot-tub on the deck outside is set on a south facing terrace accessed through the living area and with stunning views across the valley… the perfect spot to watch the sun go down whilst enjoying your favourite tipple!

This accommodation only holiday to Chalet Phoebe in Meribel & Mottaret, France departs Sunday 13th April 2025, for a 7 night stay on a "catered chalet" board basis. A local tourist tax (Taxe de Sejour or Kurtaxe) is levied by many councils in European ski resorts. It varies by standard and type of accommodation and is age dependent, so not everyone is charged. 3 Valleys ski area Excellent ski schools Lively après ski

Meribel has a special place in many Brit's hearts – not simply because it’s right in the middle of the biggest ski area on Earth. A resort for long ski days, ski-boot-stomping après and cosy chalets, there’s a great deal to do and ski here, which is why many of us have been coming back for decades.

Meribel's location is tricky to beat, slap bang in the centre of the mammoth Three Valleys ski area. British made, and largely Brit run, it's a destination we flock to year after year for a homely atmosphere in a good looking resort with more than enough pistes for a week (or three). It's made up of a huddle of gorgeous hamlets, built in traditional wood and stone and surrounded by thick woodland. The main area is Meribel Centre (usually known just as Meribel). A traditional alpine village with choc-box chale...
Meribel is one of the best ski resorts to learn in. There are three beginner areas known as 'Ski Facile' (easy ski) plus great green pistes to practise on including Le Foret and Altiport. Both runs are carefully planned out so you can practice at your own pace in quiet surroundings. If you're skiing with children, there are fantastic ski schools and child-orientated areas, including animal sculptures scattered around the trees at the 'Pistes des Animaux' where children can learn about local wildlife as they e...
Whether your day on the hill leaves you wanting to relax with a vin chaud, have a pint and play pool, or party the night away, your time off the slopes can be as varied as the day spent cruising the incredible Trois Vallees. It's said that you haven't experienced après ski here (or anywhere for that matter) until you've sampled toffee vodka in Le Rond Point, which is easily one of the most famous après ski bars in the world - complete with a slide down to the toilets! Meribel's rightly famous for its nightl...
