The chalet's prime position near to the pistes allows you to ski back to within 50m and from 75m. It is close to the Les Eucherts Express 6-seater chairlift, ESF ski school meeting point, kintergarden and nursery slope, all of which are a short walk or ski away in the morning. Les Eucherts links to La Rosiere 1850 via a pretty forest track which can be easily walked in 15 minutes. Alternatively you can take a short local bus ride. However with its own ski school, hire shops, bowling alley, ice rink, bars and restaurants, Les Eucherts is a convenient centre in itself.
Chalet Papillon 1 in la Rosiere is a duplex chalet apartment on the first and second floors of the Chalet Papillon complex. Chalet Papillon 1 has six bedrooms all with full en-suite facilities. The open plan lounge and dining area on the upper level has comfortable seating around the fireplace; there are picture windows giving access to the balcony.
These ski chalets have proved to be very popular with regular guests, who love the large ski deposit together with boot warmers on the ground floor.
There is plenty of underground parking in the Papillon complex, which means that if you choose to self drive you can relax and unload your luggage in a dry and safe environment, without the hassle of having to put on coats, snow boots etc.
Luxury Massages in your own chalet (Hot Rocks, Relaxing Swedish or Deep Tissue if you've taken a tumble on the piste)
Rooms 1 and 6 can take a cot.
Bed linen and towels are included.

Dietary Requirements
We strive to ensure that your specific dietary requirements and preferences are catered for as best we can. Please let us know at least 14 days prior to your holiday start date, to ensure that this is possible. Our team can cater for special dietary requirements be they for medical reasons, religious reasons or simply personal preference. Our chalet hosts will be advised of these requirements in advance of your stay and every effort will be made to ensure that they are met. However, we cannot guarantee that certain ingredients will not be in the environment nor can we guarantee that cross-contamination will not occur.
Children's Food
Children aged 11 and under will be served High Tea at around 6pm. This is provided at no extra cost and ensures that your child's normal routine is not disturbed: soft drinks or milk are served with the meal. It also ensures that adults can enjoy their evening meal, which is served at 8pm. If you have booked a whole chalet then you can eat together - please speak to your chalet hosts on arrival.
The Festive Season
An Alpine chalet is a wonderful place to spend the festive season. We provide Christmas trees and decorations. On the day itself, you can look forward to aperitifs, turkey with all the trimmings, flaming Christmas pudding, mince pies, and of course, Christmas crackers. For New Year most of our resorts will have torch-lit descents, fireworks and other celebrations. Alternatively, you could just enjoy New Year's Eve dinner in your chalet with a glass or two of fizz.
