"Very good chalet, handy location"

The chalet was very good: we liked the fact that we didn’t have to do any cooking for the week and the food was generally good (there was one night when it wasn’t as good, but it was just the fact that we didn’t like that dish as much as others). It was especially nice having cake as we came in each day. It was very easy to get to the slopes – that’s the case for most accommodation in La Rosiere but ours was really handy as in you’re right next door to where all the equipment hire was which was great when we first arrived. It was a little walk to the ski school but nowhere near as bad as other places I’ve stayed in – the walk was quite manageable and took a couple of minutes. Our room was fine and the bathroom was good. It was quite simple but that was what we were expecting. The only thing I would say is that we could have done with two pillows rather than one and there wasn’t a lot of wardrobe space for our ski gear, but that’s not something I would complain about. One downside is that the lock on the chalet door wasn’t working, nor were the locks on the rooms.

If what you are looking for is a family friendly and welcoming resort, with piste crossing international borders, staying in Chalet Moet in La Rosiere (attached to La Thuile in Italy) is just the ticket. Sharing the same building as Chalets Marmotte, Choucas, Bizet and Belette, you’re welcome to make friends and meet fellow powder lovers, or take them with you as these properties are equally suited to family or group ski holidays. Guests enjoy the awe-inspiring views afforded from it's great location as well, making the 15minute walk from town just that it little bit more appealing.
